Council Comment
If Vitreous Enamelling is one of your Core Disciplines, or indeed, if it is your sole source of income, then you have much to risk by not being a Member of The Institute of Vitreous Enamellers - the "IVE".
There are an extraordinary number of benefits to be gained from belonging to the Technical Body of the Vitreous Enamelling industry.
The IVE can train your existing staff and any future employees to an extremely high level of competence, eliminating the need for any in-house training. Through this vital training your people will be able to improve the Quality of your Product, whether that be in all types of Industry, Manufacturing, Jobbing, Architectural etc. etc.

Belonging to the IVE will also introduce your business and your people to the greatest experts in the field of Vitreous Enamelling, through technical seminars. This Expertise covers Vitreous Enamelling, Manufacturing and Application.

The IVE also has a wealth of archival knowledge in its library from both past technical papers and past publications.
As your people develop and grow in stature within the Vitreous Enamelling community, they may become the experts of tomorrow. This will bring with it self-esteem and a degree of fame for your Company. "People will want to emulate you."

The rewards from training, people development and access to a considerable amount of technical literature will far outweigh the cost of the annual Membership of the IVE. Belonging to the IVE is not something to dismiss lightly because of a few hundred pounds.
Weigh up all of the advantages and you will see that Membership of the IVE is a must for your Company.
