Vitrex (Pty) Ltd is a South African company specialising in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of various vitreous enamelled steel architectural products for application in the building and construction industries.
The product range includes custom made elements such as architectural cladding, enamel signs and cloakroom cubicles, as well as commodity items such as baths and shower trays, chalk boards and white writing boards.
A single source service is offered, comprising: Technical and costing expertise; Design stage advice on details, feasibility and product specifications; Colour development; Design office and drawing facilities; Fabrication, enamelling and assembly; Testing of vitreous enamelled steel surfaces.
The company was established in 1983, but our experience in the manufacture of vitreous enamelled steel products dates back to the early 1960’s. Vitrex is a privately owned South African company and the shareholders are all actively involved in the management of the company.
The Head Office and production facilities are located in Johannesburg, the largest South African city and regarded as the industrial and financial capital of the country, and visits by existing and future Clients, are always welcome
Vitrex is an ISO 9001:2000 certified compliant company.
Vitraclad architectural panels have been successfully supplied on major domestic and international projects in Southern Africa, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Vitrex (Europe & Middle East) Ltd is a U.K. registered company, based near London and responsible for the sales and marketing of the Vitrex product range in Europe and the Middle East, with representation in Dubai (UAE) established in 2006 and in Italy in 2007.
